On Thursday the rescue team meet again at Nazos Park. Yesterday afternoon and evening, additional As Good as Gold volunteers had come out looking and handing out more flyers in a wider geographic area. The team saw the flyers as they drove in.
They searched the forest again, also in a wider area. They talked to any new residents and delivery personnel they saw. One neighbors commented on how loud the coyotes were in the forest the previous evening.
Again, not a single sighting or report of Bumble Bee. None of the social media posts had replies. No valid phone calls of sightings.
The team discussed what other options they had to find her.
One volunteer had access to an infrared camera. She's promised to bring it the next day. Another had two dogs that were trained to follow scents. She was available the next day as well. None of them owned a drone, but would reach out to see if they knew anyone who did.
They headed home. That evening, in the middle of dinner, there was a report of a sighting of a dead golden with a pink collar on I-355 near I-55 . Bumble Bee was in a green collar so it shouldn't be her, but you never know. They picked up their plates and headed out. Two trips up and down, once looking on the left shoulder and once looking on the right, turned up no dog.
That was Day Three.
