Bee sometimes goes outside on her own, then often times flattens like a pancake and won’t move so I need to pick her up and take her out. She is full of fear. Today, she took a treat from one of my girlfriends. She will never take a treat standing up, only when she is laying down in her safe space. She still keeps her distance and is constantly watching me and Millie. The girls went out back for a potty, and they had a moment of about six seconds of their tails up and happy running. Of course I didn’t have my phone on me to record it.
At night time, Bee saw Millie chewing on a deer antler so I gave her one, and it only took her a minute to start chewing it! Our friend Michelle sent a box of goodies from chewy. For the first time, she nudged the toy a bit with her nose and took one of the little bumblebees out of the hive. She is coming around. Sometimes she eats from the raised feeder, but often not. She enjoys eating, but only privately. You cannot be in the room with her and you cannot look at her.
She is currently taking Rimadyl and Gabapentin at night. She has a bit of a limp on her left forelimb and seems to be favoring it a bit. It was noticed when she was rescued, so I am keeping an eye on it, and allowing her time to rest and heal.
